It is a combination of five herbs that are indicated for kidney dysfunction & treats urinary tract infections. It helps in balancing of Vata and Pitta. It cleanses Urinary Bladder. It is used in the treatment of difficulty and pain during urination, burning urination.

Trinpanchmool is a classical formulation mentioned in Charaka Samhita. In Sanskrit 'Trin' means 'grass', 'Panch' means 'five', 'Mool' means 'roots'. This means trinpanchmool consists five grassroots which are mentioned in ayurvedic classics.

These are Kush (Desmostachya bipinnata), Darbh (Imperata cylindrica), Kaas (Saccharum spontaneum), Saar (Saccharum munja), Ikshu (Saccharum officinarum).
