Charak Femiforte Tablets Indications :- Excessive vaginal discharge due to fungal / bacterial / protozoal infection

Dosage: 1 tablet twice a day for 4-6 weeks. Benefits: - Simulates astringent action in vaginal mucosa and reduce excessive vaginal discharge in the vaginal tract.

Do's And Don'ts Do's: Do's- A brisk walk in the morning is advised.
- Sanitary and hygienic measures should be followed.
- Intake of supari (Areca nut) after taking food is very useful.
- Wear comfortable fitting panties and also preferably cotton ones to ensure air circulation.
- Clean affected area two times in a day with water.
Dont's:- Avoid fried and spicy food recipes.
- Avoid fasting.
- Avoid sour things specially pickles and curds.

THERAPEUTIC RATIONALE:FEMIFORTE tablets are used for the treatment of leucorrhoea of infectious origin. Female genital tract is susceptible to microbial infection, especially infections like trichomonal, chlamydial and candidial. Malnutrition, poor hygiene further impairs host response, increasing susceptibility to vaginitis and leucorrhoea. FEMIFORTE contains potent astringents like Saraca indica and Symplocos racemosa which arrest excessive vaginal discharge. Amaranthus spinosus has immuno-stimulating properties. Ingredients like Berberis aristata, Tinospora cordifolia, exert anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and immunity enhancing actions and hence, FEMIFORTE effectively treats leucorrhoea and vaginitis and minimizes recurrence.
