MRIDANGHAM: The mridangam is a double sided drum. The body of the instrument is made of one piece of wood. Hollow, the body has two opertures of different size, one, very small, that will generate high pitched sounds and another, wider, for low pitched sounds.

Naal NO.58: The Naal drum originates in India and is a a wooden two-headed drum. Heads held in place and tuned by cords or bolts. Held horizontally one can play both heads. This Naal is of Standard quality, sheesham wood, fitted with nuts and bolts, with tuning key.

Naal NO.60 Best quality, heavy sheesham wood, fitted with highly polished gold finish nut and bolt fittings, with tuning key.

Pakhawaj NO.43 Medium size: The pakhawaj and mridang are double sided drums very similar, the mridang is just a little smaller. They are the main rythm accompaniement of Dhrupad. The body of the pakhawaj is made of one piece of tun (Cedrela tuna), or shisham (Dalgergia Sissoo). Hollow, the body has two opertures of different size, one, small, that will generate high pitched sounds and another, wider, for low pitched sounds. The amazing musicality of the pakhawaj comes from the expression of bols or specific strikes from one or both hands.
