Dashamoola Rasayanam is a bronchodilator and expectorant to be used to treat cough, asthma, the common cold, or bronchitis.

Active Ingredients: Jaggery, Sugar, Honey, Malabar nut, Snapdragon tree, Bael tree, Pink jacaranda, Indian trumpet flower, Premna, Desmodium, Pseudarthria, Solanum, Yellow nightshade, Puncturevine, Himalayan cedar, Ginger, Coriander, Cumin, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Pogostemon, Indian ironwood, Costus, Black cumin, Nutmeg, Clove, Long pepper, Black pepper, Camphor.

Recommended Dosage: 10g twice daily.

A Rasayanam is a special ayurvedic formulation which is designed to deliver the essence of one or many herbs into one to intimate and fruitful communion with the essence of the patient. Rasayana literally means “path of the essence”. Ayurvedic rasayanas accomplish this through the powerful mediating activities of Jaggery and honey, which being rich in vitamins and minerals and composed only of easily digested sugars acts as a highly nourishing ambassador to the various tissues of the body. Supported and stimulated by the nourishing effects of Jaggery, the body more readily assimilates the herbs into the blood and the various tissues, and thus the path from essence to essence is opened.

Ayurvedic rasayanas generally provide great support for the immune system and digestion, but also come in many various blends for the treatment of specific conditions. Being so highly nourishing and very gentle in their effects, they are the ideal solution to chronic and deep seated conditions.
